As a graduate student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), my research explores the intersection of tangible design and narrative storytelling. My work as a graphic designer has allowed me to investigate how physical elements—such as paper, packaging, and spatial experience—can enhance engagement and deepen a viewer’s connection with content. I am particularly interested in material experimentation and conceptual storytelling, and I am excited by the to apply these skills in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
My professional experiences have also sharpened my ability to think critically about design in the context of product development. During my internship at a lifestyle company, I worked on branding and packaging solutions, including the development of collectible furniture cards that reflected the company’s ethos. Additionally, my time at the Design Museum of Chicago as an intern allowed me to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create engaging exhibition designs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to translate design concepts into meaningful, tangible products.
