Design Is
Floor Vinyl Using the Kennerley Typeface for the Design Is Exhibition2025
For the Design Is exhibition at the Design Museum of Chicago, I designed and produced vinyl graphics for the floor. I researched 30 quotes, discussed them with the museum, and selected 12 to be displayed.

Typeface
To create contrast with the floor, I used white vinyl and chose the Kennerley typeface, originally designed by Frederic W. Goudy and later revised by Paul D. Hunt for Lanston Type Co. This typeface was selected to reflect the museum’s role as a nonprofit institution dedicated to Chicago’s design community.
